I doubt it, but if they impress me with a very high performance OpenGL implementation, I might consider it.

ailuros, this concens point and spot lights only. whereas closed-environment shooters ala doom feature plenty of those, other games' settings have prdominant directional lighting, which does fine without cube maps whatsoever.
 
Thanks learned sth new today :) I'm not that familiar with Doom3 specifics anyway.

I'm still confused though, is it or is it not possible to get a Kyro to run D3 through a SW fallback mode?
