Do you need credit card to enter Home ? I don't remember enter billing information during the 10 step PSN registration (anymore).

There is always the case of a stolen/borrowed PS3, visiting friends and relatives.

Given Sony's public stance on porn, I'm sure they will have official positions and practices to discourage them. The public betas in April and August will help to strengthen the initial community. But it's indeed a lot of work even with self-moderation and self-help.

Since Home is free, they can easily get rid of offenders by marking the console and requiring a reinstatement fee (if it happens too often). The affected players should still be able to access bare-bone online gaming services (like trophies).

If they charge for Home, it will be problematic to kick their customer out (who will demand a refund).

Actually I don't think they'll do anything. They are on record as saying that what you do in your appartment it's pretty much your own busness within reason. I think the "within reason" comes from responding to reports from peers for offending behaviour. I you wanna show porn to your friends in your private home (there's a reason that's the only place you can) and noone minds (and reports you) I don't think Sony is gonna do anything about it.

I think they will still put up EULA to discourage/forbid them officially, plus disclaimers to disassociate themselves. They will have a team responsible for getting rid of objectable material in public viewable places. They will also likely (be forced to) put in procedures for home owners to alert visitors of pr0n media; and the visitors must confirm their legal age. This is the bare minimum. Otherwise, they may get themselves into trouble.

What's unclear is "what is pr0n ?". That's where self-regulation is useful.
