my $0.02, 30 FPS is fine. movies run at 24 FPS and they don't bother me either.

Movies use film quality motion blur which makes everything much smoother and basically makes that kind of framerate incomparable with motion blur-less 30FPS games. Even then, it's easy to see how 'jumpy' framerate in movies actually is, when the camera pans over large outside scenes and such.

Regarding the new influx of antagonistic new member posts, my guess is that Chap has called in some of his console envy friends... Classy...

My console friends are classy, you are damn right. But sorry i dont know these new influx of new members. Furthermore, some old members are just as antagonistic when they flavored console comes under scrutiny.
