This is one of those games that I wanted to try and looked appealing to me and either didn't have the money nor the time to play it back in the day. I know it was about someone managing minions... but an RPG?
Did it always play like Diablo? It's what the Eurogamer article says and I don't remember anyone saying Overlord was like Diablo back in the day.
If so, it's a huge win for me. Nice to see in the Youtube video from EG article the daughter of the famous Terry Pratchett, Discworld creator.

Dear lord, please let this be more like the really really REALLY good first one and not the really really REALLY bad second one.
Watching the gameplay dev trailer. Not sure I have much hope for this. It's designed around co-op. So you don't play an Overlord (there can only be one and it's designed around 4). It's Diablo style. That seems to make it more abstracted from the charm that made the first one so good.
Sooooo... I don't expect it to be good, but hopefully it is. /sigh. Got my hopes up, but so disappointed right now. First one is one of my favorite games of all time. Second one is one of the worst games of all time.
