Most folks probably don’t even know what NVME is, so... having a branded Console-rated piece you can just slide in without worrying about performance and satisfy the box requirements would be a not-terrible thing.

Why even use a strange port?Why not both? NVMe is just PCI-e, you can make a debug system that plugs into that.
