yea they are supermarkets too right ?

The ones buy us don't sell food .

Anyway the blue laws are only in bergen county new jersey . Its actually a great thing thankfully . We have so many big malls in the area that new yorkers are allways coming to our area and traffic is just really bad most of the week. At least this way we have sunday to ourselves

Actually, I heard the Kiosks have a fan atop it to pump the hot air out, that way they don't overheat. I'm not sure where I heard this though... GAF?

Uh no...Walmarts are temperature controlled and A/Ced when it's hot outside. Most homes don't have A/C unless you live in AZ. ;)

Damn, I'll have to remind the Walmart near my house that they have AC so it's not 85 degrees inside next time I go. ;)

And Texans have air conditioning too.

...they don't have vent holes on the side of their console yet so that air can flow through those very very powerful chips, so it still feels like they have a lot of work to do.

I just loved that quote...

I mean... Sony don't have a lot of work to do with production of Cell, or RSX, getting the memory right, even getting the Bluray drive right at a decent price...

NOOOO they are in trouble because there are no holes in the display case they saw!!!!11

Exactly!!

The X360 is riddled with holes and he is treating Sony's seemingly less perforated console design as another slap-in-the face (more hype) from Sony. Based on the fact that he addresses Sony's design in this manner you gotta believe the overheating problem had to have been an extremely huge issue for MS. And with this statement it's almost like he is daring Sony to fit all its high power components into that that smallish, minimally vented console and watch it fry. Maybe it will.

You go to walmart? Meh, I'd rather DIE first before I give a penny of my money to those waldorf fucks, or even place the tip of my toe inside one of their stores...

Do you have kids?

I don't like Walmart, but I'll be damned if I pay grocery store or department store prices for disposable items like diapers or toddler clothes.

I wouldn't buy anything I planned to keep from them, but the stuff I know is going into the trash inside of 6 months...... Walmart seems like the perfect place for that crap.

The one at the Best buy near me didnt seem to have one or if i did it wasnt on. It was simply a clear plastic shell snugly over the 360 with a back space that coul have been for exhaust but nothing was coming out of it.

I actually felt sorry for the 360, it looked hot just sitting in there. Imagine laying in your cars trunk holding a toaster oven. Poor thing...

If PS3s cooling duct is very tightly controlled, precisely calculated and blows from left to right or from down to up through a series of cooling fins (a bit like the GC only longer and with the PSU included) I could se that being so much more efficient than 360s semi ad hoc airflow, that the vents shown on the E3 model might just be enough.
