Shit, with his salary I'd absolutely LOVE being made into memes! :D

Anyway, the blurry teaser trailer hinted at PS4 being Meatboy-ish shaped, and I hope that is indeed true. I like clean, simple. Xbone is rather busy with all the diagonal vents all over, and laying down plus that gigantic kinect, external power brick and so on means it's a damn space hog. Here's hoping Sony manages to integrate the PSU yet again, they are masters of consumer electronics after all.
 
At the very least it seems to suggest the next console will be able to stand on its side again?
 
Thief is just being shown on PS4 devkit on gametrailers. It doesn't look very graphically impressive yet so far (though the ground is decent ;) ), but hey, it's the first PS4 stuff.

JK tried to bait him into getting a comment about how the different versions look, but he's not going for it, just saying that next-gen consoles make the textures look a lot better in close-up, which is useful in this game because you get so close to the people you're robbing. :D

Only comment he made specifically for PS4 was that each version will make the most of platform specific features, in this case the controller. Some touch was shown.

I can't wait to watch Sony's presentation, really looking forward to it.

There are a lot of things Sony have to shed light on! First, of course, the design of the console itself. Then the prices, models and SKUs, the games' line-up, how do the specs fare in actual gameplay.

If the Xbox One showed truly amazing things and showed it is not a little kitten but a lioness, :eek: if you increase the capabilities to something like PS4's specs, it sounds very much amazing.

I am going to get the Xbox One, sure, 'cos I can't buy both at launch, but this is a great time for gaming with two consoles like these. Best generation ever, I can predict!

Gamebiz seems to think there will be 3 SKUs, from $399 to $599.

Guess the difference will be in HDD size and included peripherals.

$599 I'd want a terrabyte HDD, camera, two controllers and 2 Move controllers.

The Dualshocks (with Eyetoy) are already "move controllers" of sorts, of course it's possible they'll do separate move controllers too but that remains to be seen.
 
I'm curious if they would make an SKU without the PSEye. It would be a bit of a let down if it wasn't included in every single SKU.

Of sorts. don't really fancy playing a vigorous action game using it as a motion controller though.
 
I am shocked by the new Mac Pro. It's half an inch taller than an iPad and about half an inch narrower, but packs 7 teraflops.

Now when I take another look at Sony's covered up PS4, may be it's not so impossible to make it slightly bigger and taller than a MacMini ? ("Only" 2 teraflops).

Will be interesting to see Sony's new gear.
