New PS4 Smell

I am waiting in line in store, pretty fair turnout, not everyone has preordered and therefore have to wait for 2nd shipment it seems
 
Had to retrigger the update by going into something that required it and then it downloaded again for some reason. But went without a hitch from there.

Typing with gyro does indeed rule, much better!
 
Set a bunch of games to download. It nicely divides download speeds over about the first 4 and queues the rest. Currently getting close to max speeds, games install automatically after downloading and that is clearly much faster than on PS3. Resogun installed automatically and is now running. While typing this Flower completed and installed as well.

OMG Resogun live on my TV. The sharpness! The 60fps! The voxels!
 
Lego installed as well, clearly supports partial install/dl as only about 900MB was downloaded
 
Fan spins up considerably more when playing KZSF compared to either flower or resogun. In KZ, it's quite noticeable, although the game easily overpowers it most of the time. The frequency tone of the fan is fairly high, due to the smallish diameter of the impeller no doubt. Not sure I will like KZ, I hate and detest quicktime event gameplay, or whatever the hell they call it (press button so-and-so, or die instantly.) I wish an international convention would be drawn up, declaring such game mechanics to be crimes against humanity.
 
You can fly up way higher now in Flower! It's all so much faster and smoother though, and they have removed the 'lag' in that the wind gets to speed slowly, and possibly also analog speed control (on or off now). Makes it a bit less relaxing than originally.

Actually the analog stick gives analog speed control.
 
If you're logged into playroom with two users, both users can get trophies ... :)
 
I presume background downloading is supported as standard? Because on PS3 it was stupidly constrained so as not to download when doing lots of stuff, such that you had to wait for the download. Not very 'background' at all!

And it's in my hands, connected updated and running.. shared videos, pictures etc on facebook. A 15 min video is a 700+ MB upload. Slick interface didn't take long to feel at home.

Currently with one game except the PS+ freebies, AC4, which i haven't had time to play..

Compared to the PS3 this is a much more solid product.

Got mine! Dos someone experience psn sign in problems? Dunno if it's overloaded psn or something related to the network here at work.
