I didn't say anything about killzone, so please don't bring up these irrelevant claims. It's one thing that realtime games won't look like prerendered movies, but when realtime games for a new and yet to be released console looks less detailed than over a year old already existing PC title, then I don't see what I should be so excited about. No disrespect intended towards your person, but this really isn't impressive IMO.c0_re said:OH please for everyone thats not impressed, sorry there not up to the Killzone "demo" level
c0_re said:Fine but it seems like thats what people are expecting and IMO that just not realistic, not even on PS3 much less X360.

Yes, I know I'm such an idiot for drawing conclusions from what I see with my own eyes quincy... Look dude, I already SAID these shots don't impress me enough times by now so that I wouldn't have to put up with drive-by snipes like yours, yet here you come anyway... I only speak of what we ALL can see in these images, I've not said anything about what we can't see.Qroach said:Speaking of 'irrelevant claims" Guden. Consideirng how you haven't actually seen the game running yourself, this statement is fairly irrelevant.
Guden, don't get all defensive.. What I said wasn't a snide comment or drive by snipe. Your claim that "a new and yet to be released console looks less detailed than over a year old already existing PC title" isn't really a relavent comment when all you've seen are a few shots released months back along with a few screengrabs out of a recent magazine. Hardly enough to draw a proper conclusion from. If you've actually seen the game running and can propelry compare it to the PC game you talk of, cool. If not, well then you aren't being very reasonable.Yes, I know I'm such an idiot for drawing conclusions from what I see with my own eyes quincy... heh, people see what they want to see. Still, to draw ANY conclusions from a few old pics or magazine scans is foolish imo.only speak of what we ALL can see in these images, I've not said anything about what we can't see.
calm down.Alright?!
Guden Oden said:Yeah naturally I looked at the pics, can't say it's very "next gen" about them. Level detail is much higher in Painkiller for example, a PC game that's over a year old by now. Maybe all of these pics show off poor angles and the game overall is a lot more detailed, but I have a hard time understanding what's supposed to be so great about these shots.
There are some very high-res scans around. You can definitely come to the conclusion it isn't a graphical force (at least in stills) after seeing them.Uncle said:I'm not sure what pictures you saw but the ones (scans) I saw weren't nowhere near the quality that you could judge details by. Maybe you have the magazine itself?
About Posting Scans from Recent Publications
That rule is simple. You don't have the right to do that. Easy to remember, isn't it?
You can, nevertheless, post scans from "vintages" publications, and from promotional printed materials (Ads, Press kits...).

Uncle said:I think that they are a bit fuzzy too. It's hard to tell how much details there are in the textures. Or maybe I have bad eyesight or something. Well maybe we'll get HD video soon. Will PDZ be at TGS?
