Music he was listening to in the 30's? The math doesn't add up....
Not music he listened to IN the thirties (he was friggin 3-4 years old then, lullabyes don't really count as music does it...), but music FROM the 30s.
Just for fun, can you mention one popular artist from the 30s that people still listen to? I sure as hell can't, but then I was born in the 70s, so... (*)
Oh and btw Davros, my folks don't drink wine, so... But thanks anyway.
*Edit: Me and my dad actually discussed
Zarah Leander the other day, and I guess some old coots might put on one of her records now and then, but damn... I won't buy something like that for him!
Interesting anecdote about her btw. According to legends, she and Goebbels, Nazi German Minister of Propaganda, had the following (roughly remembered) exchange: (Leander was big in Germany in the nazi era.)
"Such a beautiful name you have, madam. Too bad it's so...jewish. Z-a-r-a-h."
"You're one to talk! J-o-s-e-p-h!"
Might be bogus, but... It's fun, anyway, even if it's maybe not true.
