That's not out yet, is it? I've been looking forward to it, I'm a sucker for a good time travel story and Ryan Reynolds? It's gotta be good!

Enjoyed Batman. Probably the grittiest Batman film ever. Didn’t think of Twilight while watching so that was a plus. But the black eye makeup and Pattinson’s pale skin definitely reminded me of The Crow. Also, his calm demeanor was missing a seething rage which would have vibed better with his version’s more visceral fighting style.

Futhermore, definitely felt that 3 hours. It was too long.

I enjoyed Spiderman No Way Home just an hour ago. It felt as well like some seconds could have been cut here and there. Liked it anyway.

No Way Home is great, maybe the best MCU Spider-Man, because it's more Spider-Man than Iron Boy. And Amazing Spider-Man was amazing, Andrew Garfield was more like Peter B. Parker in "Into the Spider-Verse" than Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man.

The Adam Project was good. It has something from Flight of the Navigator.

I don't know why stupid comedy is compared to masterpieces like Dune. One of the best films since Odyssey 2001. Dune was very progressive and outstanding in most categories.
There is no match for it.

On a side note, I found the deadpan mood in Dune refreshing. In the film there were two little jokes in the first twenty minutes and nothing after that. People today are probably no longer used to that.

Dune is absolutely a brilliant movie.

What I was suggesting is that good movie scripts seem to be a non-renewable resource; those nominees aren't exactly fresh pieces of literature. And I'm not even saying anything about White Men Can't Jump.

Or, on a second thought, it is a renewable resource - remake is always an option.

Eternals...first Marvel movie I actually did not get to the end of, characters not engaging, I literally had no empathy for any of them.
Dune....I know nothing of the books and did not see the first movie, but this movie has to work for someone like me....I found it slow slow slow, filled with several absolutely stunning CGI sets and not much storyline until the last 30 mins or so...weird that they have commodity called spice, as does the star wars realm
Matrix 4....samey...a bit too samey...i was expecting a black car to shimmer as it walked past my settee.
Spidy....fantastic marvel movie, I'd say the best spidy movie by a long way...very enjoyable....however I agree that the central mechanism for the film, basically a too fallible Dr Strange was a weak plot point...maybe its cause he no longer has the time stone ?

Dr strange has been doing strange things for a long time. So it's no surprise that Dr strange is kinda strange in the latest Spiderman.

For example, In older movie, it was shown that the portal ring can be used to chop enemy in half.

But that's overpowered skill was never used ever again for that purpose

Looks to me that the portal rings are stationary so they are not _that_ OP, requiring the opponent to wlk through in order to be used as guillotine. Kind of equivalent of putting down a landmine and asking the enemy to step on it.

That was my attitude going in, but they cranked up the stupid to 11 before I even realized what was going on.

I liked the conspiracy character, he charmed me.
