From what I understand, GENDA is buying SEGA Group, which is basically everything Sega. The previous stock holder for SEGA Group is SEGA Entertainment, which is also under the umbrella of SEGA Group. With the new deal, GENDA will own 85% of the SEGA Group and SEGA Entertainment own 15% + being excluded from SEGA Group. I believe SEGA Entertainment purpose was to manage all those subsidiary under SEGA Group. Now all those subsidiary under the group will be owned by GENDA and SEGA Entertainment will manage nothing and not part of the group anymore. Basically it just become a 15% stock holder.

Long story short, Covid make SEGA Entertainment sell SEGA Group.

That's not what the press release says. In English here: https://www.segasammy.co.jp/english/pdf/release/20201104_e_subsidiary_final.pdf

It's only SEGA Entertainment, a subsidiary of SEGA Group Corporation, dealing in arcades, theme restaurants and suchlike. (SEGA Group Corporation is itself a subsidiary of SEGA SAMMY Group.)

Instructive org chart here: https://sega-group.co.jp/english/about/summary/?id=cs
Considering that Sony is trying to buy various anime studios and publishers, I wonder if it tries to buy Sega's part in anime.

Microsoft could purchase Sega in the early 2000s as far I heard. There were even talks but Bill Gates decided not to buy Sega in the end.

After reading it all in full (not just copy pasting few bits at a time), yes, I have made a big mistake.
Basically Sega Group owns Sega Entertainment and they sold Sega Entertainment shares to Genda, and remove Sega Entertainment from Sega Group while still holding 14.9% of the shares.
Hm.... I just re-read the Siliconera article again... was the article being edited? It seems I read something different from there but now it read exactly the same as what I read as a whole from that Sega pdf.... or maybe I just need some rest....

Maybe GamePass or GamePass+ will expand to include video content?

Or its expanding to have Avatar Awards, like way back in the X360 days...

Best guess so far. Still, it just cannot be part of the normal GPU tier can it? I mean. EA is $5/month and Disney+ is $7. Maybe it is just the Mandalorian going to be available?

(Or perhaps merely a precursor for more...)

Plenty of people think it's going to be a GPU Perk that's maybe 2-3 months of Disney+. At this point I really have no idea or feeling as to what it may be.

Just to add some "What?" to the mix, the other day while I was transferring 2.6 TB of games from my external 4TB HDD to new 4TB SSD, I noticed a new game update come through. It was for Disney Infinity 3. That game hasn't had any work done on it for over 4 years and their online servers shutdown in March 3, 2017.

Back on topic, Bloomberg says that sources confirm that MS are sniffing around for prospective acquisitions in Japan.

I know there's a perpetual 'MS is buying Sega' rumor, but I think with recent financial reports taken into consideration, my money is on SquareEnix. They have a great portfolio of games and franchises, including all the old Eidos stuff. Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, and most importantly, Legacy of Kain. Oh yeah, and Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.

I think them looking at a range of acquisitions is curious. If it happens, I'd expect that I'd be one of the bigger publishers and some smaller studios.
