Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain & Ground Zeroes

That's running on a PS360? Have they said anything about a nextgen version?

Well it was stated and is stated on the official site it's coming on current gen and PC. No words on next gen plateforms though. Maybe they' re waiting for Microsoft next plateform unveiling to confirm it.
Theey made a live 10 minutes demo running on PC.

Just for clarification, Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain are actually Metal Gear Solid V. The Moby Dick Studios thing was apparently just a promotional bit.

"Ground Zeroes" is a prologue of "MGSV". 9 years after that event will be "The Phantom Pain". MGSV is constructed w/ prologue and main game "TPP". The game play demo I presented today is the opening of "TPP" which is tutorial that starts from crawling.

I just finished watching the conference and I wonder how come nobody seems to talk much about the Fox Engine. I am not a developer and I find it amazing how much detail they looked into making the FOX Engine being able to mimic real-like material attributes, lighting and clothing. Really impressive approach to provide "easy" solutions to "problems/difficulties" in rendering real time realistic visuals. I havent seen another engine with that kind of approach especially on current gen consoles

i just baffled...
Kojima demo the game on PC, say that it will come to PC too (ground zeroes).
MGS 5 - Xbox 360 and PS3 exclusive

Platinum and Kojima Pro demo MG Rising on PC, say that it will come to PC too.
MGRising Revengeance - Xbox 360 and PS3 exclusive

It seems they actually already able to release games for PC but for business reason, PC keep getting cancelled?

EDIT:
he have one horn? o_O

ONI? project OGRE...

Yes, amazing that it's on PS360. I still see some animation or weight issues. Kojima will probably have them fixed.

The scene in the office looks really impressive:

I can imagine that Hideo Kojima demonstrated the gameplay on a PC to underline his neutrality. Kojima's games are no longer exclusive to the PlayStation consoles and by showing the gameplay on a PC he made clear that this presentation is about the technology and the game and not about the console wars. I hope he will announce Metal Gear Solid V for next gen systems, though.

In the last section of the new trailer btw, Snake looks like he has something that looks like a "horn" on his forehead. What the heck is that?

Now Joystiq says that:
"Contrary to what Kojima said during the GDC panel today, Konami has confirmed with Joystiq that Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain are indeed separate games."

How does he manage to do it every time, how ? How ? How can he wow the world every freaking time he shows a trailer ! C'mon Kojima, everytime u release a trailer with Snake, some of my neurons explode ! At this rate I won't have much of my brain left .....how Kojima San , how ??

Fox engine uses a pretty fat G-buffer for their defferred shading. Depth, Normals, Albedo, Specular, Glossiness, Translucency, ID and Velocity. Phew... How is he gonna do all that at 720p30 on ps360?
