The postmortem only has a few frames of CPU data. Sound looks like it was spawned on Worker 3 but its hard to make out, and they don't specifically call out its CPU time. So, no, unfortunately we don't even have a good idea as to audio's cost when it was fully on the CPU. And now its been shifted off to the DSP (to what extent is also currently unknown).

I think it's because of the "dust tech" which they used after the explosion and subsequently covered everything in a very opaque tone. It somehow takes away the intricate detail and textures that were present in the first place.
