Do we know how much CPU time they're using for audio?

The postmortem only has a few frames of CPU data. Sound looks like it was spawned on Worker 3 but its hard to make out, and they don't specifically call out its CPU time. So, no, unfortunately we don't even have a good idea as to audio's cost when it was fully on the CPU. And now its been shifted off to the DSP (to what extent is also currently unknown).
 
I think that's the same presentation they published in April.

Objects look amazingly realistic in the slides under the appropriate lighting conditions but for some peculiar reason the in game visuals look less realistic

I think it's because of the "dust tech" which they used after the explosion and subsequently covered everything in a very opaque tone. It somehow takes away the intricate detail and textures that were present in the first place.
