Let me just say this. If you are truly stupid enough to take that as a slam on a whole country, well then you probably should not be reading up about DIY tech stuff as you are a surely going to break it. ATI is a bunch of Canucks in my book and always has been. It is not the first time I have referred to them as Canucks and it will not be the last. I have never even thought of Canucks as being a derogitory term. And yes, we have been using it for years.

If you don't like the way I say it, then I invite you to never again view our little web page. So if you have a touch screen, I am sure you can easily touch the Red X in the top right hand corner of your browser with your pinky finger that is sticking up from your tea cup.
Go read Anandtech if you want PC. www.anandtech.com
Check out your useage, replace "Canuck" with "Canadian" and it still is pretty insulting. The bottom line is that the enthusiast hardware community wants products, not Canuck promises.
I've been following this thread, just not commenting....but I thought I might point out a slightly different viewpoint on this issue since I think you're not quite seeing their point.
Again, I mean no offense....just some friendly insight.

I think I'll leave that thread alone now, not a lot of good will come out of it if I don't.Kyle_Bennett said:Just to repeat myself, "If you are truly stupid enough to take that as a slam on a whole country, well then you probably should not be reading up about DIY tech stuff as you are a surely going to break it. Sorry, I'll butt out.

I'm contemplating snapping a few puppy-hostage photos to inspire Dave....John Reynolds said:LOL You're going to set that TX redneck off, Diggie (says the OH redneck).
John Reynolds said:I was angling more for the more vulgar translation of "once you've got it up, keep it up" as a little wordplay with the viagra offer. But we really don't want Dave and Neva making the beast with two backs tonight, do we?
Ok, now after you drop the handgrenade in the room you leave...right?So a, "Fooled once, shame on you; fooled twice, shame on you", type attitude then?Kyle_Bennett said:We will post the review and we will go out of our way to rip their lying Canuck asses a new one if they don't deliver as promised.

Yeah, but I keep thinking you could replace "Canucks" with the name of any country and it still would be sort of dissing a country.Sxotty said:DW you were right, btw. Caucks to me is like Yanks, it may have been an effort to be derogatory originally but no one much cares now.
