Kojima leaves Konami to start new Studio *Confirmed*

We require details. In-depth highly descriptive details. :)

Honestly it came to be because we were sitting there looking at this crazy long credits list and wondering who in hell are some of these people? It just all seemed so silly, so one of the guys suggested adding in the girls they brought in during crunch time that would give us free back massages, some of whom were also strippers. So into the credits they went along with all the others. Most amusing was the fact that those girls helped us more than some of the "executives" that were listed in the credits. It always got on our nerves that some high up people would get their names listed on any game they wanted even though they never even spent 1 second on the product itself, or even ever stepped into the darned building.

Credits don't necessarily reflect people that actually worked on a game alas. Sometimes they are political, sometimes contractual, and sometimes just silly (we had strippers on a credits list once for example). It's deceptive, but it's been that way forever.

Sure, a person here or there, but adding an entire development team (which might be over 100 people) to the game?

Regards,
SB

Sometimes they will list an entire team even if only a fraction of the members on that team actually participated on a game. Credit lists really became a big joke in the end to us really. With some games now if you go by the credit list then they must be paying $80+ million in salaries alone to pay all the people listed on the 6 minute credit list sequence. In reference to Kojima that Nesh had mentioned, I have no idea if he did anything or not on the game but I wouldn't be surprised if he touched the game as much as Madden touched the later EA football games.

The clothing isnt surprising but its funny that Konami is using the game's brand without Kojima now, and the fans are trolling them for doing so.

PT is removed from PSN, it cannot be downloaded/redownloaded anymore.
We will never know what actually happened, probably, but Konami are doing things in the most cool-blooded manner that you can imagine. That's extreme cruelty with malice. They are getting rid of anything Kojima with rage.
Fucktards

If they continue to act like children, at some point someone will break NDA and explain WTF happened.

I suppose we'll learn something at E3... something conspira... consp... something theorically conspiratory.

I don't think we'll find out. Culturally, this would be a very un-Japanese thing to do. Obviously I'd like to know the details because it's maddening, but I'm not expecting anybody to talk on the record. Which means 99% of all games journalists will know (or already know) but can't every report it.

It's a lot more likely that Kojima will make not-so-subtle references to whatever happened in some shape or form in one of his next creations. I could bet on it.
Excellent, we'll leave you to interpret the bonkers mind of Hideo Kojima's next game.

We will find out what happened in few years. That's the usual time limit for revealing something controversial in gaming industry.

If the journalists would know they would report on it.
