But this is exactly what I miss from the new footage. The level is to large for me, the action is to wide spread...like in Crysis 1, which I did not like that much.
I prefer the close frantic battling, with all exploding, all debris, all particle effects and smoke and sound....you know, exactly what Killzone 2 mastered and excelled at. The first KZ SF footage looked promising in this direction but this new footage did alarm me that this is the complete opposite direction they are going for. It is also clear, that for such a large open level, the graphical density cannot be that high.
I must say, the new footage did not wow me, in contrast...it got me a bit worried. Watching each iteration of GG I have the strong feeling that they leave their own path to match the expectations some press people have: more colors (since KZ2 first gameplay reveal...which was at E3 and press called it Greyzone...but it looked so stunning) and more open sandbox type gaming a la Halo/Crysis.
I hope not. Want KZ2
