this game is just amazing. i dont like platformers much but the quality and depth put in this game is just truly remarkable.

Mighty Impressive & funny!
For me Kameo is one of the best upcomming games for the X360.

I'd wish some game devs would actually produce a game this genre but with a more "photo"realistic aproach in textures and leave the cartoony look behind. Sure it blend/fits better to have a cartoony style since even the own characters themselfs are a fantasy outcome and the game style is for the younger age. But with this upcomming consoles capabilities would be very nice to leave (or step away a little) the cartoon era behind.

That's odd. I had exactly the opposite reaction. I think too many people are trying for photorealism with next-gen hardware. I'm all for developers stylizing the graphics. I'm glad Pixar is doing their own thing even though they could get a heck of a lot closer to photorealism that any game could.

Also, you have to realize that simple graphical styles on next gen hardware means they can bump other things up immensely. Unit count, for instance.

Yes im aware of that.
But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. I think a balance can be met between both aspects, but im more towards the photorealism.
I like both ways. I'd just love to see some game comming up to deliver a more real graphics aproach, kinda like the movie Final Fantasy the Spirits within. Of course it ins't exactly possible but i meantion it just to give you a point of view of what the direction i'd love to see in these type of platform/adventure & other mixed genre types.
