The last console that EA bailed on was the Dreamcast.

Just a little historical note for you to think about while you claim this would be a good thing.

Didn't EA already pledge support for Rev though?

And didn't EA just completely ignore DC all together (as in zero support?)?

I don't really see what the big deal is -- nintendo has survived off its hardware and first party games for a long time now; I think they'll be okay this coming generation (and if they aren't they'll change their tactic for the generation after)

Yeah they did.

Plus: "Iwata also reveals that Nintendo has approached publishers and developers with gameplay concepts, proposing how their established franchises could benefit from Revolution's controller."
Nintendo is trying to coax developers into creating Revolution content. They know that they might alienate some devs. But it seems they trying very hard to bring everyone in. Handing out Revolution controll schemes ideas will probably facilitate that process.

3 pages stating the very same thing is a waste.
We got it Powderkeg, you are Revolution's controller allergic, but repeating it over and over makes it look like you have something against Nintendo.
There's no need to share your opinion 10 times in the same thread.
