Is it possible to sand off the die covering on RSX to see the layout...

Would it be possible to sand off the blue crap on the rsx die in order to see the layout better like on the cell chip or on the core 2 commercials?

Sadly it's not quite that easy! Those images are x-rays I believe of the chips layout. Just sanding the top off won't reveal much.

[modhat]We'd prefer a better level of grammar here at B3D than your title! A change of title that didn't try to squeeze as many words in does just the job. You also don't need as much detail - basically you fit the entire first post query into the title! A simple "Question about ways of investigating RSX's die" would have been enough to inform readers what the thread was about, and would also invite deeper debate as to how investigations could be performed.[/modhat]
