Come back here in three years so we can compare games on that same PC to games on the 360 and you will see who is being stupid here.

And in 3 years, how optimised do you think PC games will be specifically for the GTX 512 vs the X360?

Besides, how many PC<->Xbox games have you tried to play on a Ti500 at 640x480 with medium-low details lately? I think you will find it keeps up just fine.

PC CPU power and memory are the ones that fall behind consoles so fast because they are the things that grow faster in mainstream systems. Hence developers get lazy with whats available.

Of course you ignore the fact that X360 will require MUCH MORE optimization than PC game because it's based around new hardware, while PC games run off traditional PC hardware therefore the engines and gamecode are already optimized for that environment.

So first the USA is more efficient and self balancing but now (when it suits) it requires more optimisation?

And besides, who said NFS:MW is a PC-->X360 port? Its a PS2 game aswell, PS2 CPU architecture is nothing like the PC.

You have got to love it though. 6 days of the week console are better than PC's because software is more optimised for the hardware so it gets used better. But whenever a PC game performs better in a cross platform game, its not becuase its more powerful, its because PC's are better optimised than console games. Go figure...

Who said anything about USA's? Likely cuplrits are probably the 3cored InOrder CPU, and the EDRAM which requires predictated tiling.

Bizarre (who's game look worlds better than NFS) stated Xenos cuts through their longest shaders 'like butter' so I don't thing EA was low on shading power here.

And even bizarre stated they wished they could rebuild their entire engine after getting the Xenos hardware, that's a 1st party developer, imagine what a hackjob the EA port must be...
