    While true it probably depends more on what the cost of the chips would be if its 50% faster then the current leading hardware and it goes on sale as entry level hardware in 12 months time they could possible make alot of $$$

    Anyway good to see the large rampup in volume of IMG's customers chips. However some one needs a good kick in the bum for the stuff up on page 13 of annual report.

    I was under the impression that you needed to be King of the Hill in order to sell lots of chips, due to customers confidence in that brand (even though they don't buy the high end cards)...

    For PowerVR it would be much more interesting to get their solution sold as IGP. (more money)

    How that? If they had the top performer add-in card, they could have some really nice margins.

    I would imagine that a PowerVR Series 5 based Athena GPU(s) as the basis for a higher-end SEGA arcade hardware would be a large improvement over the 6800 GT based Lindbergh.

    Most likely to be Intel, unless you fancy Renesas or NEC making a move into the integrated chipset market....
