Image Quality and Framebuffer Speculations for WIP/alpha/beta/E3 games *Read the first post*

think it was 720p MLAA. Many ppl are happy..... personally I think they also need to upgrade their texture for the new game with QAA blurring or not, KZ2 has pretty crappy texture by today standard.

I'm sorry i don't get this at all... i played the game extensively and i never noticed one single texture that made me go "ewwww, crappy texture" in KZ2... I find it pretty rich when i keep hearing people say this, and also i think the textures in the KZ3 media so far already look more detailed and richer than KZ2.

There are many many many games this gen that have crappy textures. KZ2 is definitely not one of them.

I won't say that KZ2 has crappy textures, but I will say there were quite a few that stood out to me and not in a good way.

Folks, this isn't a pissing match to find and catalogue textures. Games can have poor textures up-close, and they can look fine from usual gameplay view. Drop it. It adds nothing to the discussion.

Mmm some tearing in the top screen in the 360 version, first screen.

Both console versions have tearing.

Same as previous games on Ego (QAA on PS3, MSAAx4 on 360)?

Would seem to be.

It's more likely baked into the texture.

is the aliasing really bad? any AF?
No, don't worry ;) I don't know what trick use to cover the jaggies, but it isn't so noticeable. And the graphic it's very good, I found one of the best third parties games imho. Beautiful shaders & texture.

Maybe the motion blur covers the aliasing up nicely people didn't even notice it was sub 30 fps?

The problem with LOT face off:

their pics are not captured in equal situations: so position of characters is different, lightning is different, motion is different -> hard to compare different screen shots IMO.

DF does a fundamentally better job in this regard!
