Heh, I took a video just now and of course right when I start recording I get absolutely swamped by 25+ enemies and the cat couldn't track the mouse so she's just staring at the screen. I was also having to focus more on the game than the video so all you can see is kitty's little head at the bottom.

Then she looses interest and starts staring at my USB cables

Try rubbing her belly without bleeding

She is very sweet once she gets to know you, but her life on the street hasn't fully worn off. She gets terrified when lots of people are over and cowers under my bed. With her tail sticking out obviously.

Although I do think she gets better every day. Last Wednesday when the extended family was over she actually came out in the living room and started meowing.

She went into heat when she was ~6 months old and started acting weird. We thought she was sick and called the vet who explained to us how cats work.

So now she's had her tubes tied.

I'm going to have to ask you to clarify if that's a manga title or a character or what, because googling these kind of things can be rather dangerous sometimes.

Nekomini = cat ears, specifically in my head that pop in was a person that wear cat ears head-band.
just think of it like fluffy bunny ears head band.

btw when i googled "usamimi" (bunny ears) the resulting google images are lots of real girls face while wearing bunny ears head band.

then why when i googled "nekomimi" all of them are anime/manga characters and the 2nd page full of NSFW O_O
i think the old saying was "breeding like rabbit" and not "breeding like cat".

We let our missy go through 3 heats before finally taking her to be "fixed", and yes, you as a male, even if different species, are potential mate for the princess of the universe.
Countless times when I was playing or working on the computer, our missy would first come and head butt me few times, purr a little and then go between me & my monitor, raise her tail and behind up and start ... hmm, "meowing" doesn't just fit this sound really and look over her shoulders to me looking like "I'm here, why aren't you taking me already?!"
This obviously stopped after we got her "fixed".

As for petting the belly, it all depends on the cat, and even more so, about each person trying to do so. I, as a humble servant of overlords of the universe, can pet all the cats I know from the belly after meeting 'em just few times. It's the ultimate sign of trust when kitty let's you do that. Then again, the next cat I meet might tear my wrists open if I try to do it, so fingers crossed

Someone just a few minutes ago found a little tabby kitten in the parking lot outside our building here on the base and brought it inside. Adorable little thing, not shy at all, and very clean, so we think someone dropped off a whole litter and this one just happened to work its way around our building. Someone is taking it home, but I was tempted despite bad allergies because of the major dad points I would've scored with my 11yo daughter.
