I love this game!

It is just a joy to play. Aloy is interesting, the narrative is compelling and my god it's absolutely stunning to look at on my PS4 Pro in 4K HDR on my KS8000. There's nothing like it out there.

I feel like there are not a ton of videos out there showcasing just how versital the combat and weapons can be in Horizon. If you run in just using your bow (against machines), you're going to get mauled. I love how this game forces you to adjust and adopt new strategies and change weapons while fighting. These videos I made regarding the trials on the game really show just many many different ways there are to fight the machines.

My suggestion is you play this game on either Hard or Very Hard. I started on Very Hard, but dialed it down to Hard because I had limited time to make videos. Make no mistake, Very Hard is pretty darn challenging!

Watch these videos to get an idea of what I mean by the combat. Also, might want to bookmark these if you run into any trouble with the trials. They can be challening at times, but they offer a TON of XP so they're highly recommended.

You saying "very hard" rocks ? Does the gameplay mechanics hold up? How's the input lag etcetera? How would u compare it to souls games or other action games if we play horizon on hard?

That's my main query before I start tomorrow. What difficulty to start it on cos I don't think I will evee get time to replay it.

Very hard is a challenge for sure. I found Hard to be a good fit for me--challenging, die when not thinking during combat, but not frustrating. The gameplay is great! No noticeable input lag. It's nothing like a Souls game really.

I meant in the way that difficulty doesn't feel wrong in Souls game even though u r a puny. I got the answer, I think, I will play on hard. I guess very hard would be for ones who already know all systems maybe. Hard should be good for the thrill and danger of the hunt?

A stealth hit is not always a kill, atl least when playing on Hard or Very Hard.
