Hmm cdrom drivers not showing up in my computer

Okay . For some unknown reason My cd rom drives are not showing up anymore. They show up in the bios but not in my computer. I have no clue what is going on. I have never seen anything like this happen before. Does anyone have any idea ?

Remove the two IDE controllers, let them be redetected, see what happens.

I'm using an nforce 2 board with ide and serial connectors .

Hmm okay an update. This is what its saying in the properties of the drivers

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."

Of course with out the cdrom drive i can't get the drivers for them off my windows cd.

Try reinstalling the chipset drivers:

that didn't work. But i found a disc on my floor and it was a ghost image from a week ago. So i just fdisked windows and started up with the ghost image and reinstalled
