I think I bought the Silver package which gave me HL2, CS:S, DOD:S plus HL1:S as well as all of the original HL and expansions.
Point is DoDS wasnt a standard multiplayer mod for HL2, i, and many others, had to pay extra since it wasnt included with the copy of the game. Doesnt matter if it was added to an account alone or paid for through a more expensive package, still paid for it.

Day 1 purchase for me on the 360 so I can enjoy it on my couch.
Some games, even FPS's work fine on a control pad, HL2 is not one of them.
I enjoyed the Xbox version a lot. So you're obviously very wrong.
Im sure its still fun, in fact I know it is, like I said I have both options and have extensively tried both. Im just saying its much better with a mouse. The nature of the game with lots of fast moving enemies, often that you have to take out from a distance makes it much better suited to a mouse. The supercharged gravity gun for example isn't half as fun when your limited by a gamepad.
Sorry to hijack the thread but does any one know whether?
- HL2 Orange box contains HL2?
- If so then is it using the updated engine (as HL Episode 2)..?
I hope that achievement is actually from Portal, because if you can simply knock down TF2 turrets (the ones the Engineer class can build) that'd suck some serious ass..
.
TF2 seems pretty well-rounded too:

.
*Friendly Fire
Knock down a turret with another turret.
Only if you build it in the line-o-fire of a friendly turret, kind of a newb mistake. Is it that simple to have one engineer's turret to take down another engineer's turret
