Halo: Reach

I'm making a slayer map in forge world.

Anyone know how to precisely adjust height? The bumper controls are far too coarse and make it impossible to align two pieces of
geometry. Using edit coordinates doesn't work either as the height goes up and down by too large a step.

Shifty have you, or are planning to jump in.
No. Too many time-consuming titles on PS3 to worry about getting another machine. I'm a one-console guy. Just curious, as Halo is widely regarded as one of the best, if not the best, online experiences, and I was wondering how that was handled. From homerdog's reply, it sounds like avoidance of laggy matches is a combination of decent matchmaking and lots and lots of players to pick from!

Try asking that question on Neogaf's reach thread, you will get the answer you want.

I haven't played too many online FPSs on console, but Halo is definitely the best in terms of providing a consistent lag-free experience that I've seen. Of course it is not as foolproof as dedicated servers on the PC games I play, but I like the matchmaking system a lot. Wish more games had something comparable.

Mm... just got an Onyx commendation (Get Loud in Firefight). It doesn't say "next tier" though, but there is a higher # limit indicated. I wonder if that's the end or if more tiers (i.e. bonus credits!) will unlock later on just like Rank.

It's not a bad way of increasing kills for other commendations too, but I do get the feeling the next set of DLC will introduce more Rank achievement so the sooner I get those creds...

Gruntpocalypse works out ok for small arms fire. You get at least 100 grunts all to yourself. :p

Grab the object then go to the properties window (B I think) and go edit coordinates. Bump it +/- by 0.1 for height.

Just completed the campaign on legendary, alone :p
The last mission left me somewhat
emotional. When I saw the objective: Survive, I was like wow this is it. Really awesome.

By the way did you guys notice in the ending move that
behind noble six' helmet, there was a spaceship cut in half? Does that mean Master Chief landed on Reach?

If this game doesn't get GOTY, I will shoot someone.

Arbiter made it back to earth in one half.

Sorry was response to your spoiler tag after the credit.

It was suppose to be the arbiter made it back in one half of the ship.

Im 99% sure that the chief was also floating in space in half a ship at the end of Halo 3. I'm at work now so watching the Halo 3 legendary ending right now is out of question :p Besides Arby landed on Earth and
what I saw was on Reach :)

Master Chief's half of the ship floated in space, in Legendary it was also above a strange planet with the Marathon? symbol glowing on its surface.

Always felt like a metaphor of Bungie putting the Halo franchise in the freezer for a while, to work on something else, but planning to return to it eventually.

The planet seen in the legendary ending of Halo 3 is often thought to be Onyx.

As for the downed ship at the end of Reach, it's likely just one of the many UNSC ships destroyed in the Battle of Reach. Simple explanation
