Gamersyde & B3D XBL Party: Friday March 6th

Hey guys, this coming Friday (13 Feb) I would like to get a group of guys from B3D and Gamersyde together for some Halo 3. I will be on after 7pm PST.

All are welcome but I especially want to see some of you "Gods of Halo" onlne. Likewise if you are willing to give some feedback on my gameplay I would appreciate it. I am doing some testing of a new hardware and like some test subjects who I know who can give some feedback + with Matchmaking it always pits me against people my skill level so I would like to see how I fair against some better players (athough all are welcome!)

Yes, this is about the Xim2. This is your chance to embarass me to the 100th degree... or to validate your concern that PC gamers are cheaters and ruin console games. Lose-Lose!

I am not too good either I am at a 6 rank now, my highest ever. During the week I wouldn't mind some 1-on-1 and 2-on-2 on Gusrdian. Actually that may not be a bad idea for Friday either: set map(s). I am inclined to pick the flatter maps like:

Guardian
Snowbound
High Ground
One Pit
Foundry
Standoff
Vahallah

The bold ones I know best (still had to look up all the names!) and will give the best feedback in general. Snowbound and High Ground seem to be where I do best (simple maps, not a lot of multi-level drops/lifts and crazy maps with nooks and crannies everywhere). Idealy I would limit the experiment to situations that show how much I stink because of my skill and not my lack of playing a certain map.

Seriously though, if you really want to test your ability aim quickly and accurately, play some Team Snipers.

Part of the test is to see what others think. I thought of not disclosing my device but seeing as I stink and no one was to the wiser for a fair number of days it was safe to say that it wasn't making me play uncompetitively. Now I am looking for some players of various skill and solicit some unbiased feedback about what they are seeing. I guess the best way to do that would have been to have a party, have people give me feedback on my skill, and then disclose my cheater device

Yeah, I had a blast even though as usual I was fodder.

I was trying to get some practice in before Friday since it's been a couple of months since I played H3.

I plan on getting on tonight after I finish some homework and dinner with the wife, probably after 8 pm CST.

Found out that this now just priced drop to $39.99 new ($34.99 used) so it just made picking this up again much easier.

Looks like we may have ~8-10 who have shown interest. Maybe we can max a 16 player match And in a turn events people want to play with a cheater but fled from me when I just sucked
