I have the same take on this game as the reporter from Gamer's Reports:

"The game looks as good as it did when i ran it on my PC two years ago. Take it from me, someone who was a major player in the FFXI universe, this game's time has come and gone. "

please ultima online is 8 years old and has over 150k players playing it . This game isn't past its time yet .

There is probably still a lot of demand for a console version considering the PS2 version required the HDD upgrade. This will either need a USB keyboard or the keyboard controller that was shown. Personally I hope there is the option for a regular USB keyboard.

They've definately imporoved things, but i would be careful with the "full advantage" comments.
