Far Cry 4

Looks like I need to do the golden path mission, nice to see I wasn't the only one stuck thinking what I need to do to progress!

 
All I know is that I saw a 8GB update going through the other day and I wondered what the hell they need to update now that takes a whole 8GB of space. Actually I went WHAT THE F!

If that's true then the world should stop now because I want to get out of it. If it's confirmed.. I would deal with the devil himself in this parlour times.

That's not legal!! And it takes a lot of space against your will.

Is the install 8Gb bigger or did they just patch/fix a lot of stuff over the map?

I gotta check and manage the files of the game on my X1 tomorrow and if I find something I will share my results. I'd be very disappointed if that was the case. My HD is starving for freed up space and those practices make it even harder for users to do some maintenance on their HDs.

I finally checked -Xbox One version- and the full game takes up 28GB of space, as it did from the very beginning. No changes there. Then I have a 115KB save file. But not some extra 8GB, thankfully! The Yeti DLC weighs 1.20GB, iirc.
 
So I finally finished the game, had some fun times and got my moneys worth altho towards the end I think I had burnt myself out in the first half, so ended up 'rushing' through the 2nd half...put about 30hrs in in total.

I will definitely pick this up from time to tine - play some of the DLC and get more of the towers and liberate some posts, but for now I'm going to give this a rest and FINALLY start Dying Light (at least I will be able to enjoy it with AF lol) ;)

Congrats. (because of the AF thing too, modern IQ is unacceptable without AF) :D

I am trying to play this game. I do. I really like it a LOT. But I can't play it now. I got used to the likes of Halo The Master Chief Collection and Diablo 3, and a lot of other games I have which are 60 fps and I can't stand 30 fps anymore, games running at 30 fps look like a slide parade.
 
I don't understand the 'slide parade' comment - sure 60fps looks smoother and more solid, butu 30fps if stable (to me this game was) is fine

You may as well sell your Xbox One and buy a PC then. I'm not trolling, but if that's how you feel then you only have one option.

The Xbox One is still a good console. I am looking into a PC but there are plenty of 60 fps games on consoles this generation.

Next games I am planning on buying are Wolfenstein (Return to Castle Wolfenstein is one of my favourite games of the PS2/GC/Xbox generation) and Metro 2033 Redux and Metro 2033 Last Light -both Metro 2033 games are on sale-. Maybe it it is a new The Elder Scrolls game...I can live with 30 fps.

Can't other developers learn from Carmack and use 60 fps while still having nice visuals? iD Tech 5 framerate.

I can't believe I'm typing this, but...

Can you make a list of console 60fps games, Cyan? :runaway: Only released games, too many games have targeted 60fps and dropped it during development.
