This site is an old classic.

Things I've witnessed during my trip through Japan:

Hokkaidou:
A garage named FPOE (in blue letters). For those who don't know it, FPOE is the Austrian right wing nutjob party.

Akihabara, Toukyou:
Dialogue:
in a manga shop:

friend: Dragon Half ga arimasuka? (Do you have Dragon Half [manga])
shop keeper raises eyebrows
shop keeper: Nani?
friend: Dragon Half ga arimasuka?
shop keeper stares stupidly
shop keeper: Nani?
friend: DoRaGoN HaRuFu ga arimasu ka?
shop keeper: Ahh, Doragon Harufu!

Well what do you expect... You weren't saying it correctly... :p

Similar thing happend to Faf and I last year during E3 when having a conversation about another B3D forum member. Only I couldn't figure out that he was talking about DeanoC simply because his pronunciation for Deano was quite a bit different from mine...

I once spent half an hour in a shop looking for Aloma Oil for my Japanese girlfriend, before realising she meant Aroma Oil.....
