holy molly; so many bugs with this newupdate

    EDIT:

CDPR, Bungie, and Bethesda should be merged into one company and the resulting bugs would be hilarious

Spent an hour or so with it.

Weird game. But I got to choose a penis size so that makes it better.

Sadly, it’s one of those games that are basically unplayable for me at 30fps, but honestly I can’t see the difference visually between the RT mode and the 60fps mode, so 60 it is! I guess if I really stop to look the shadows I’d see it but ain’t nobody got time for that.

Other than that, I reserve judgement. I haven’t even made it out in the city to see crowds etc.

there are still frame drops in 60fps mode on PS5, but less than the PS4Pro version running in BC, with everything cranked up, resolution, LoD, effects, NPCs etc...

    oh and much improved AI

    or maybe not.

They call it "panic driving" because "we can't program a good ai" didn't pass the pr approval.
    Anyway, he runs really fast...

Cyberpunk is no pushover, even at characters. Its gonna be a long time i'd say until a game that outclasess it in all areas. Besides that rendering an entire city is the most impressing feat you can do, its also a first person game - meaning it needs to have everything stand up while people look inches away from everything. 3rd person games can cheat a lot of things regarding this, because everything you see its from a distant camera

Also the way they render the desert and rock bits, quite outstanding i think.

the new NPCs activities seems are added randomly. so it can have weird things going. this one, trauma team right beside a food cart. pardon the seller is cropped out. Photo mode crops ultrawide to wide :(

Would you kindly stop turning every game thread into subjective comparison threads?

Which is not to say you can’t talk about different approaches to rendering techniques … but there are other threads for this.

No, I was looking for it, but got distracted and thought maybe I hallucinated it being in the patch notes.

Played for a while last night and the new patch seems to have improved everything pretty much all around for me. Less texture popping, smoother, and the driving feels less awful. :)

Yep same here with my 1070, and that's on a 3840x1600 monitor. Thank god for modern upscaling tech VRR!

FSR seems to work really well with the new patch. I'm playing at a mix of high and medium settings with FSR set to balanced and generally hovering over 40fps which feels pretty smooth with Gsync.

Freesync made a whole world of difference for my gaming experience, it was like a GPU upgrade! Is Gsync the same at helping performance or have you always had it?
