I think this looks better than most expected it to be (myself included) Porting great looking Xbox games to other platforms has been pretty much disasterous so far, and I've been the last to expect ubi soft to put some real effort into the port.

It's nice that they preserved light bloom effect. The game had a lot of nice looking scenes that used it for a good effect.
 
But the first pic is just SO grainy! Which is why I thought it could have been a scan. Although yeah not all of the pics look like scans.

Nah, i was watching a wildlife program the other day and they were filming in nigh vision and it was in black and white - but grainy
 
Oddly enough, in the Splinter Cell PC demo the night vision mode is green on my GeForce 2, but black and white on my roommate's GeForce 4. Don't know why.
 
I'm impressed, I didn't think they could pull this off.

It'll be more interesting to see the framerate though.
 
Well, it's still much worse looking that Silent Hill 3 for example, but I'm pretty surprised nonetheless. Two more screens:
