UbiSoft wouldn't put out such a trailer of poor production. Some goofwad could easily make it with your basic video editing software. Trust me, it's fake.

Well, thanks for that sage, omnipresenent wisdom. Ubisoft should track the guy who made this and (a) Hire him (b) Find out how he got source PS2 materials. ;)

I see no reason to think that the trailer is fake. Where is the poor production?.. I just don't see it.

If this trailer is fake (and I thought it might be), whoever faked it had to

a) have an access to yet unreleased video material of the PS2 version.
b) pretty good skills not only for video editing techniques, but also a good sense for the job he was doing (some of the scenes are very thoughtfully linked together), not to mention the wit to come up with it in the first place.

Ubi Soft will be adding new features to the PlayStation 2 version of Splinter Cell.

Ubi Soft has announced that it will be adding a number of new features to the PlayStation 2 version of Splinter Cell. The game will feature an all-new binocular-vision headset, four new levels in the power plant area, 30 additional minutes of cinematics, and a new four-minute intro with music performed by the Prague Orchestra. Ubi Soft also has plans for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell to support Dolby Pro Logic II sound.

Notice that it's nowhere else to be found on the net except Gamers's Hell. If it was a true trailer from UbiSoft many more widely known sites would have it.

Well guess what? The trailer is NOT fake. It 's on the official site now ;)
