Well, this does not bode well for Silverlight to be honest.
Why are you even running win2k in this day and age? Dump that old trash ffs, you probably get conflicker because you have IE6 installed on it; the world's most insecure browser.
You can't even get IE7 or above on win2k; even MS supports it anymore other than security patches perhaps, and it's surely about to get end-of-lifed soon in that regard as well.

I am now patiently waiting for someone to ask how to get Silverlight to run on a Win98SE box.
So is MS going to bundle Silverlight with Windows 7 or is it seperate install ?
A guess of mine grabbed out of pure air is flash has >99% of the market. I've not seen one single site ever of those I regularly visit that uses silverlight, and none of my infrequent visitors/random stumbles either, excluding those sites I checked out that were linked from silverlight.com.Pretty bad for Silverlight there's still a lot of unreasoning hatred for MS on the net which hampers deployment even more.
