I have nieces , nephews & other kids in my family that started using Tablets & Smartphones as young as 1 years old & they actually know what they are doing. But these same kids have trouble playing the simplest of console games with a controller even up to age 5. They can play PlayStation Move / Wii & Kinect games pretty good if they are not too complex.
The older gamers like us grew up using controller then started using touch interfaces as we got older but the kids from the last 8 years or so are more accustom to multi-touch than they are to console controllers & by the end of this generation these kids will be the new generation of gamers.
the question I'm asking is can Sony or Microsoft successfully create a platform for a generation where touch controls are second nature using Kinect/PS4 Camera?
