I bet the rest of you doubting the lighting feel pretty stupid now, don't you?
It's a funny picture, but since no one's tried to claim that COD uses a unified real-time lighting engine, it's not exactly refuting anything.

This part had the commentary about how they have new features like Volumetric lighting. Yeah ! THats some volumetric lighting !
They are trying too hard to sound next gen with advanced AI(fish move away ! OMG!) and Volumetric lighting (Mesh shafts), Innovations(character customisation, ! Never heard before!) , dynamic levels(Gears) and emotional connections = Fable's DOG ! I am sure the Dog will die(SOTC of this GEN !!!!) , and we 'll see next gen tears with reflections and refraction.
Lets give them to time to get their game together. They seemed unprepared for the May 21 reveal.

Newly released shot shows a marked improvement.
Ignoring the blur (best way to hide artefacts) the balance in the scene is much better. They have drastically toned down the extreme contrast and the colours look far more natural. Really does suggest the video was very early.

It's not as bad as I expected
Still nothing there wowed me so far.
i mean you could tell me that's the current gen version and I wouldn't know the difference.
but next gen has underwhelmed throughout for the most part, not just this game.

well i hadnt seen that. the non-underwater stuff looks much better.

Underwater stuff is all wrong. First part of the trailer shows divers in a tropical coral reef then swimming out of a tunnel into a cold water kelp forest.

Frankly, after all the hoopla , the only game that actually feels next-gen in visuals is definitely KZ SF. Even though it also lacks the POM and Non-screenspaceAO , which I had ssumed would be standard next gen, still that is the only footage, which when watched at 1080p, makes me want a new hardware. Everything else, just looks like the same on higher res , doesn't have the Wow factor at all.
And e know it was all gameplay and in realtime and on the promised hardware.
On topic, COD Ghost will have a full reveal today itself, if I am not wrong.
Edit: looks like it happened when I was sleeping
