When I purchased this game I was worried that it would turn out like NFS2 on GC but its far from that. It makes me wonder what the game would have looked like if the framerate was 30 instead of 60 ( I wouldn't sacrifice the framerate) and some added features.
Is it possible because of the Xbox graphical power (raw) that it puts the GC in a position of alienation. A lot of the ports to GC from PS2 games just seemed like they were half-assed. The guys at Criterion seemed to be able (Or wanted to) to tap in to the GC's power with no problem. Producing good graphics on the Xbox is not difficult to do, but for GC it takes a little bit more effort and time.
The same could be said for Splinter Cell on GC, the visuals are not better than the Xbox version but its close enough. The guys who port the game over did a fine job.
I just hope their efforts spills over to good sells.
I have a question for you guys, does anyone know where I can find a cheap affordable modified GC componet cable that connects to your computer monitor for some of that progressive scan goodness?
I'm in southern California.
