The Order 1886 triggers the most dopamine and oxytocin receptors in my brain.

It's a fact. :p

Your "humor" was well before that post. Great job.
And did nothing to derail the thread. There was a healthy discussion about graphics for many pages afterwards ;) Your posts about my emoticon on the other hand have nothing to do with the topic of the thread though...

Old movies have actual physical filters in front of the camera lens. Also stuff like gels, vaseline, even women's stockings. Not kidding there.

I said "usually". In the recent years very old movies were seen too rarely by me. The "interesting" 35mm films (where a UHD Blu rays should be recommended - I hope for these) do not have this normally.

In my opinion, these called physical changes are ridiculous for a epic movie.

Remember amd had temporal aa was that related and how did it compare to the temporal aa shown in clukos's screenshot ?

Remember, kids - you always have the choice to end a derailment by not replying. That's B3D's official top tip for 2016, as evidenced by my new Official Moderator Signature of Officialness.

If a thread is headed nowhere then derailing it is the only sensible thing to do!

You can ban me now, I won't mind ;)

I'd like to mention that I have never seen a denser (3D) world than Bloodborne's. You could expect enemies to be so insanely detailed & animated but so much intricate details (geometry + textures) on the walls, ground or statues should be worth a mention.

Too bad the strong CA basically kills the details in 75% of the screen space. IMO If the game had no CA and a clean temporal AA solution or a non-blurry and cheap post AA solution like CMAA it would have being more awarded for its graphics, not only its stellar gameplay.

Finally finished RoTR on PC. The game is sometimes beautiful, sometimes horrifying (worst shimmering I've seen since i am not even sure when). It's definitely not better looking than Arkham Knight overall, I would put it at 4 or 5 honestly. They really messed up the antialiasing solution (I think it's just using some sort of FXAA). Facial animation on Lara looks great though.
