It's interesting to me how high the proportion of of PS3 ownership is on B3D relative to general sales.

Maybe it's because on the whole B3Ders are more technically savvy and tend towards the best kit....

I agree. Another reason is that there are a lot more "hardcore" gamers on here - perhaps even refered to as early-adopters which didn't have a problem with the high price. More casual gamers are more price sensitive and the ones that haven't got a PS3 yet - they're probably playing the PS2 (or Wii) right this second.

Where's the option for owning Dreamcasts? I still have 2 (not to mention 2 GCNs, 4 PS2s, and an Xbox)... Oh and yeah, got the 360, PS3 and Wii as well...

Well the lack of wii (9) owners is a bit more surprising to me than the ps3 (23)->360(35) ratio.

This is not a typical board for the Wii audience ... Also, the poll results may hide some Wii owners. If you had a 360 and a Wii, how would you have voted for instance?

I didn't know exactly how to vote either, having a PS3 and a 360, and having had a PS2 (x2) and an Xbox previous gen, I chose 'I own a PS3 and at least 1 other console'. In retrospect, I should have chosen the same option with 360 instead of PS3 as well I think.

I couldn't really picture myself playing mini-games all day long. I tried it and got bored within 20 minutes and never turn back. Then I came here to post.

Resently got a PS2, PSP Slim & Light, and also upgraded to a PS3 (love the PS1/PS2 game smoothing option) and hopefully my Xbox 360 Elite should arrive from Play tomorrow. Hmm now I'll have to get a HDMI splitter as my 37inch LG HDTV only has one HDMI port !
