This is a great video, developer diary for Hellblade's protagonist...

What does our dear @Laa-Yosh think?:D
For me it's the eyes that do it. Great work there. Also, it must be a lot of fun for the actress to spend a whole day doing 100 different facial expressions. I'd piss myself laughing half the time.

"Actress" She's a video editor at NT, good thing she's also very pretty and they can use her face as an in-game model! That's how low budget projects work basically, everyone does everything

And i agree that model looks really good, especially the 4:26 part! I can only hope that such a good base model will get the facial animation it deserves, this could look really good in the game.

Not sure if this is the same head...

Because it's certainly not as impressive as the work in progress stuff in the above video.

The vlog is all about how they're reinventing the tech. They've replaced their in-house solution used for development and demos (and your linked vid) so far with this new super-high quality, top secret scanner which they'll be showcasing soon.

Ex Machina: The game

Looked good, not sure i am excited after playing B:TS though.

I don't know why this picture impresses me so much, but it does. It looks really clean and the subsurface scattering on the ear looks really good.

If Quantic Dream can pull together a good enough storyline and some enjoyable gameplay elements... then they would surpass all Sony's internal development teams when it comes to the Wow factor. That level of detail in those shots makes Infamous Second Son look last generation...
