Yeah, this looks quite different. If this is the same scene, then this is evidence of that developer statement about much better lighting and shadowing in the PS3 version...

Actually, the reason they look different is because the TV used for the video was calibrated for the PS3 version, turn up the gamma\brightness on the X360 version and it would look better..

There is definitely AA in that screenshot. The gaps in the wood roof is the alpha component of that texture and not a polygon edge.

What dev statement? It looks much more like white-crush. Boost the contrast, and lose all information above 230. That's a bad thing by the way. There's no better lighting there. It's either art direction or display settings.

Btw. the only thing that these closeup shots prove is that the PS3 version runs in full 720p whereas the Xbox 360 runs far below that (@ 1024x576), as was stated by some website in the other thread.
And how exactly did you see that in these highly compressed JPEG shots? Looks like the comparisons were assembled from JPEGs then recompressed into a JPEG. Could be true, but there's no evidence here.

and yet the game looks better on the 360...

really.......I see nothing differnet other than the lighting......they look exactly the same to me..in 720p....

in 1080p thats prob a different story for the ps3....

that being said game trailers is differnet than playing it side by side on two tvs @ work;)

i dont know about the xbox360 version but on the ps3 i had to turn the contrast way down in the video settings.

there are 5 fields with text written and you had to make the top text as dark its almost not readable. by default it was very bright.

(tested on a CRT TV connected trough RGB scart @ 480i)
