That comparison video is fairly old by now anyway. NG2 engine has shown what it is capable of in the GDC level.
Isn't this picture just comically good?
Dont know about the comic part but looks really nice
EuroGamer said:The first thing that hits you about Ninja Gaiden II is the level of polish lavished upon it. When we last saw the game at the Tokyo Game Show, we expressed some concerns that the game didn't quite look at strikingly beautiful as, say, Devil May Cry 4. Since that time, Team Ninja has evidently gone to town with the 360's hardware, creating one of the most assured, confident action games seen to date.

Once you kick off, that's it, and you can roam around the lavish environments without a pause, enjoy the new free camera system, and backtrack without fear of being nailed by respawning denizens.
Anyone knows of the release date for the demo ?
Ign score seems to be fair but the others.. American reviwers have been too harsh on japanese games lately, ofcourse I have yet to play the game to judge that.
Is it just me or this game has virtually no realtime ligting (i'm looking at the Gamersyde footage)? It looks shiny and all, but the lack of advanced lighting makes it look just like the XBox1 version simply in HD.
Maybe it's 'cose it is Beta though.
Another bad point, the game isn't perfectly smooth. Most of the time it runs at a perfect 60 fps and all is good, but during heavy action scenes I've seen some tearing and even some major slowdowns happens. It's rare thankfully, but still disappointing. Also disappointing, and we've become used to this coming from Team Ninja, the shadowing and lighting is still very basic and doesn't seem to be that much different from the Xbox games.
