There are so many sniper and none are thinking ooh we armed a crate maybe i should call a artillery strike on that crate to stop some of the enemies.

I haven't been on much because of holiday stuff, but if I see you I'll hit you up and we can wreck some havoc. I find it more difficult too, because it's so much easier to get flanked and snuck up on. Like you, I've never been on a good team that really tried to cooperate. I found in Bad Company 2, a good squad could be deadly, and I imagine this will be the same.

It seems that the Vietnam pack load outs interfere with the regular ones. If I play the expansion for a bit, when I go back to the regular maps my specializations seem to get reset.

My only complaint about the Vietnam DLC is the destruction doesn't come into play as much, because there aren't many buildings. All of the maps I've seen are jungle terrain. I was kind of hoping there'd be one city level. In the end, it's a nice add-on for Bad Company 2, which I'd agree is the best multiplayer shooter on the consoles this gen, by a wide margin. The battles are just so much more intense than any other shooter. And they have really nice creative maps that offer a wide variety of strategies along with some great visuals.

So that's back again. That was a pretty cheesy problem in Bad Company 2 when it first came out. I could use the one auto-shotgun and snipe people across the map with one shot. The shotguns were even better than the regular guns, because they gave you a zoom in with LT, but without the iron sights obstructing your vision. You just had a reticle. It was good when they fixed it. Haven't seen too many people exploiting it in Vietnam yet, but it won't take long if it's back. Hopefully they'll patch it out soon. I'm pretty happy using the M16 and the M60 so far. I really should check out some of the other guns, but those two seem so great that there isn't much reason to go for anything else.
Holy crap. Just had the mother of all battles on Operation Hastings. Went 33-15 with 18 anti tank mine kills. Those dumb asses just wouldn't stop driving vehicles. LOL!
It got so bad near the end that I saw tanks and jeeps driving through the water, over hills, along the sides of the map . . . everywhere except on the main roads. I couldn't stop laughing.
I now have 5 gold stars for AT mines.

Yeah, I should have jumped into more of your games this weekend and taken a break from NHL. We were on a win streak, and I just couldn't tear myself away! Vietnam seems to have some map balance issues, or at least issues with spawn points where you can get spawn camped. Some tweaking could easily fix it, but as long as your team isn't utter shit, it won't be a problem. I still tend to do very well, even on a bad team.
I thought I was getting a burnt out on FPS titles but I was wrong. I just needed something fun. I really enjoy Vietnam.
repi, if you still read this, there seems to be an issue with map cycles. Operation Hastings comes up waaay too much. Although, it was better last night so maybe it was fixed over the weekend?

someone mentioned that they were updating servers this weekend to patch the boat glitch on Vietnam but don't know if that holds water.
