    From wardevil.com:

"Currently digi-guys is still bound by NDA's(non disclosure agreements) and is unable to give away any more information regarding our publisher or the target platform for the WarDevil project."

yet somehow I'm being naive? I don't think so.

That article is nearly 9 months old.

They are under a NDA which was my point.

You're trying to tell me that game makers can never be under NDA regarding the target platform, well wardevils website says you're wrong, plain and simple.

Who's to say Sigil isn't bound by a similar NDA?

Anywas lets not continue this pointless argument, I just get a little PO'd when i get called stuff like naive.

This thread was just supposed to let people know I found a couple gems in my OXM from back in May.

Maybe true maybe not, who am I to say, so take it as you will...

They do, else they couldn't state that they won't release it on xbox360. It's not that hard to grasp, is it?

I believe an MS guy heavily hinted that Sigil's other team is handling the X360 Marvel MMO. I don't think Vanguard will hit the system, though it'd be cool.

Well Scooby saying that your product is not coming out for the Xbox360 is a far cry from we can't talk about our product at this point. Believe me, I was one of the first to say that SOH was coming out for the Xbox360 (Sigil had a stay of execution by moving to the Xbox2) so I'm surprised as any of you because I really expected it to be on this platform. But hey, maybe things changed and they realized they couldn't make the target date.

Yes, I said as much in April I believe.

I really hope that was a joke...

I wouldn't believe anything you read in OXM, or any other print magazine for that matter -- especially not for news. Unless it has been announced somewhere else, I wouldn't count it as truth.

Citizen Zero is struggling to get their game out on PC -- I know a few people involved in the project (although I haven't talked to them in a while now). It may land on Xbox360, but OXM announcing it holds no more weight than a random person saying it.

I think you are overestimating the importance of the word Official in OXM when you put your trust in them. They have no more to do with Microsoft than Gamepro does.

Exactly, the US OXM is just another SKU from Future Publishing.
Just like the US OPM is just a Ziff Davis mag + Demo disc.

Future also publishes the French OXM, OPM and Nintendo Official, BTW... Talk about monopoly.

Octobers OXM has a FULL PAGE SPREAD about Vangaurd: SOH, complete with screenshots, so it is indeed coming to the X360.

Goes to show..don't believe everything you read on the forums!

When people on the developement team deny it on their own forums, I think you should listen to them.

My experience is people under NDA are not always very clear/honest and may mislead due, even intentionally. I know a popular mod, DC, was under NDA with DICE and gave quite a bit of "negative" feedback that ended up being true. Their defense was they they were under NDA and certain replies were accurate. e.g. if someone asked a question they could say, "No, that is not true at all" by either pointing out later a small part was wrong in the question OR that, at that very moment, something was different--or they were even answering another question. Some even went as far to say, "This is a rediculous rumor and false. I know for a fact I am not working on such and such project" when in fact they were not--but the other team members were.

Basically NDAs can cause all kinds of screwy responses. Best to wait for official information on anything in general.

Now I no nothing about either of these products but...

It would depend on who they are dealing with as a publisher.

Not all NDA's are with console manufacturers. It's common to not be able to discus details of a deal until after is signed and sometimes well after it's signed. The publisher wants to make as big a PR splash as possible with the announcement, so they want to have control over the timing of the announcement.

Well, the OXM that just came out has Mass Effect on the cover. So unless we're talking about different versions of OXM, the news about Vanguard is false.

Vanguard is not coming for the Xbox 360, I know that for a fact. However I do know what Sigil's other project is, and it is for the 360.
Here's a hint: It's not being done by FASA as most people think.
