This time the site in question is headlining it as PS3 game, although it is yet another of those PC, xbox360, PS3 games.
This is really boring, not actually worthy of a topic of it's own but here it goes.... yawn.

If those are what next gen games look averageally, i'll be disappointed.

As a first-gen game this looks more believable than those other city scenes from "2 days to Vegas" or whatever it is. As development shots, WIP, I guess they're not too bad. But I still hope "2 days" is more the future :D

Graphics look awful but I like the concept. Someone needs to make a game set during Romero's dead universe with free roaming.

This game have been announced aeons ago, as a next-gen game, along with the pictures and all.
They were at that time, and they're still, looking for a publisher. Judging from those shots, I whish them good luck.

I really don't know why IGN, suddenly, decided to make a cover story about this stillborn project. Maybe a slow day for news, or something.

Well think how it is this generation. There's alot of crap looking games out there. That won't change, if anything it might get even worse next-gen because of increased development costs. Really amazing looking games will IMO be the exception not the rule. But the bigger developers should be able to impress.

Supposedly, the game won't hit until 2007, so there's a whole lot of time for improvement. First thing, they oughta redo the lighting engine.

Ever hear of a game called Mortal Kombat, released over ten years ago? Consider me desensitized.

Next Gen will left no excuse for bad art.

I don't know about that. It seems to me the better the graphics tech, the more it's replied upon to make things look 'good'. Some devs just don't understand the difference between art and graphics.

Possession Xbox 360 in-game screens

UK developer Blitz has released some screenshots for Possession, its forthcoming survival horror effort for PC and next-generation consoles.

"These are in-game shots from the Xbox 2 early proof of concept demo," a Blitz representative told Eurogamer, contradicting reports elsewhere suggesting they're in-game PS3 shots. "They're from a level that was created to demonstrate plans for the game, but which might not appear in the finished version."
...
Possession is slated for a 2007 release, and Blitz told us they'll be "showing a graphically revamped version at E3". We'll bring you more then.
