It appears that the core system comes with a wireless and wired controller.
Could it be a mistake or no?

EDIT: Added pics

What's that black half of a controller thing in the lower right corner of every page? Aome new peripheral?

What is "Premium chrome finish"?

Yes, in the brochure it says the core comes with wired and wireless controller, and the premium just wireless... weird.

Still cannot believe $40 for a wired controller and $50 for a wireless controller

What about the $99 Wireless USB connector? Extortion at its finest. Fry's has USB adapters for the PC for about $19. These can't cost more then $10 to make.

It's a mistake. If you look in the box above the chart, it shows what is included in the Core package, and it only lists a single wired controller.

Seriously is MS confused or WHAT!?

Their website listed HD-AV cables as included with Core, now it's been switched back to standard AV, their brochure's list wireless cntrollers as standard!?

It REALLY seems to me like they changed plans last minute.

The more I look at it the more I think this is just fan made stuff. The black controler thing in every corner struck and never explained in the perfereals section struck me as off at first, then the mistake on the wireless controller, then all the blatent copy and pasting in general. After reading bullet points like "Anti-alising for smooth textures" and "Full surround sound" I have to assume that MS either hired a kid to do it or more likely a kid did it himself.

Damn...if thats fan made...theres an Xbox fan out there that has a whole lot of time on his or her (probably his) hands. Do something constructive you fans you!!

Maybe MS threw in the wireless controller last minute due to the upset their pricing caused.

If the core unit is really targeted for casual gamers/small children then two controllers would probably have more value to them than a hard drive, remote and headset.

Upset? Amongst a bunch of whiny internet fanpeople, you must be joking! :D

What happened to the Eye Toy type camera accessory. At E3 it was displayed as to be available for xbox360, and even after that there was pictures released with a different design, but now it's nowhere to be seen?
Guess it was just a mock-up, a "concept" like often during unveiling of new console, like PSP's transparent keyboards, gps, camera etc...
Or has Sony some patent for the use of camera in games, which prevents other companies.

They should at least offer a GoldLive trial.

A wired control at 40$ damm, this guys dont play at work.

you can play "find the most ridiculous accessory price".

The standard controller at $40? The wireless one at $50?
The wifi adapter at $100?
They are all great contenders, but I'd say the HD AV cables at $40 win.
I think the $20 face plates take the cake, they are bound to still be able to rake in a nice profit selling for half that and likely have a lot better market pentration as well.

I thought for a moment the plug and play charger kit was the most expensive at 30$ for a wire but it turns out it comes with a battery pack. So i guess thats not to bad

Anyway its apparent by the pricing they want you to go wireless . More money for them in the end . THey get to sell u on another package aside from the controller itself
