A chip will weigh a gram or two, not 71. There'd have to be some notable but not significant changes inside.

Maybe enhanced cooling if they've changed the controller or NAND?

It'd not be much copper or aluminium. Could be a heatpipe change and slight reduction.

Will be interesting to see what becomes of the series s when MS moves on to a smaller micron process. Sony has moved to 6nm and was able to reduce the board size quite a lot
