As for Nintendo and Sony needing to learn from MS when bulding a console. I completely disagree.
Each company made the hardware they wanted to make, and each had there reasons for making it that way. Arguably Sony made flawed hardware in PS2, but that is only arguable and not fact. I don't think it can really be argued that Nintendo made flawed hardware.
Nintendo clearly got exactly what they wanted from GameCube. A powerful, easy to program for and cheap to manufacture, peice of hardware. Had they wanted it to be more powerful at a higher price they could have easily done that.
